Bradford Baroque Band

was formed in 1996 to perform chamber music on period instruments. The core players are:

Mark Davies cello

The repertoire ranges from Baroque solo and trio soonatas to Mozart masterpieces and Schubert songs. Based in Bradford on Avon, the group has performed in many local venues including Longleat House, Westwood Church and the Wiltshire Music Centre.

The band frequently expands to accompany choral works such as Bach's Mass in B minor, Handel's Messiah and Schubert's Mass in E flat. Alison Townley and Hazel Brooks violins lead the orchestra.
